Merchant cash advance debt in Kansas

What Kansas publishes about UCC filings and commercial financing, and how to check your own record. Informational only, not legal advice.

Your UCC record in Kansas

Funders file a UCC-1 financing statement with the Kansas Secretary of State UCC System (KSUCC) to put other creditors on notice. Search it by your exact legal business name. Lien position: a UCC filing names a secured party, not who gets paid first.

Levraq does not read the Kansas registry yet, so your report will not list Kansas filings. The Debt Check still measures your remittance ratio, stacking and tier from your own answers.

Commercial financing disclosure in Kansas

Kansas Commercial Financing Disclosure Act (2024 Session Laws ch. 29, SB 345), effective 2024, on publication in the statute book: A provider consummating more than five commercial financing transactions a year must disclose the total funds provided, total funds disbursed, total of payments, total dollar cost of financing, the payments or estimated payments, and prepayment terms; the Attorney General enforces it. Threshold stated in the statute: transactions over $500,000 are exempt (sec. 3(g)). Source, checked 2026-11-04.

Confession of judgment in Kansas

Levraq has not recorded a Kansas statute on confessions of judgment in commercial contracts. Whether a confession of judgment in an MCA contract can be entered against a Kansas business is a question for a lawyer licensed there.

Work the numbers

Two calculators that need nothing from any registry: the annualized cost of an advance, and the share of revenue going to remittances. The Debt Check combines both with what you report.

The cash you actually received.

On the contract, e.g. 1.35 means you repay $1.35 per $1.

UCC coverage is five states (CT, CO, OR, FL, CA) plus SEC filers; no match is not proof of no filing. Informational only, not legal or financial advice. Levraq is a diagnostic and referral service, not a lender, law firm or debt-settlement company. See about.
